Student Appointment Passes on the Dashboard
To help manage and “confirm” student appointment requests, there are two tabs that appear on the adult dashboard when a school has enabled sAPT functionality. Below are explanations of each new option.

- Today’s Appointment - This displays the number of current day “confirmed” student appointment requests (sAPT) and/or adult created appointment passes. This tab will be available even if sAPT is not being used at the school.
- Today’s Awaiting Confirmation - Shows the number of sAPT requests for the current day that are waiting to be confirmed (or canceled) by the “To/Destination” teacher/staff member. The “Departing From” teacher/staff member does not have the option to confirm the sAPT request but does see this on their main APT Pass screen and can “Cancel” the request, if needed.

- Future Awaiting Confirmation - This is the number of “future” sAPT requests that are “To” you and need to be confirmed (or canceled). Click on the “Future Awaiting Confirmation” tab to see these appointment requests (see below).

Once a student request is “Confirmed” by the “To/Destination” party, the pass will be treated similar to other APT passes and will show as a “Today’s Appointment” if the request was for today. See the example below:

If a future sAPT request is confirmed, this will show as a tan “Future Appointment” on the appropriate tab of the main Appointment Pass menu, as shown below.

If any of the adults involved in the sAPT request selects “Cancel”, there will be a notification on the student’s screen. A number will appear by the bell in the top menu bar and when selected the student can view the details. Both cancellations and edits to any appointment passes will be listed here.
The student can view the details of any changes to their appointment passes from the Appointment Pass menu as shown below.
