Pass Types
There are three different pass types in the Pass system.
Roundtrip - Roundtrip passes are usually passes where there is not an adult waiting for the student at the destination, such as the restroom. Once the student’s pass has been approved, the student will leave class. The student arrives in the restroom where there is not an adult to verify arrival (no PIN), and then will return to class where the pass will be ended, either by the teacher or the student (if using Auto Pass).

Layover Pass - Layover passes are expected to have an out, arrival, return, and an end time for the student’s pass; however, this pass type can end anywhere along the trip.

One-way - One-way passes consist of the student leaving one room/location and arriving at the second location. The pass will always end at the second location and have an out time and an arrival time only.

Note on Pass Counter Functionality: The Pass counter's setting is fixed; you cannot change the way passes are counted (it will always count up).
