Sound Notifications / Log Out
You can enable an audible “ding” to alert you that a pass is in need of attention on your Dashboard. (It may also be necessary to allow sound notifications in your browser settings.)

To log out of the system, simply click on the Log Out icon underneath the name of your school. The system will automatically log all users out overnight to protect your system from misuse. If you are using a device that more than one adult will be logging in to, you will want to log out, not just close the browser tab.
Pass Mobile App
There is a Pass mobile app for teachers and students that you can download, if desired. To access the Pass mobile app, go to the app store for your mobile device and download the app.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, you can click on this link - Pass Mobile App Documentation - or access the document by clicking on the Training tab and then clicking on the Pass Mobile App link.
Potential Mobile App Issue for Adults - If a school has a large number of passes on the dashboard and there is a massive change event (i.e. - many passes turn to long running passes (yellow flag), many passes end at the same time, and/or many passes move to “System Ended” passes (red flag)), then the App can crash.
REMEMBER:
You can always run the web version of Pass on your mobile device to avoid this potential issue.
Auto Check-In
Auto Check-In allows students to type in a PIN when entering a specified location and to let the sending adult know they have arrived at their destination. (Auto Check-In must be turned on by an admin at your school in order for this functionality to be available.)
To set up the Auto Check-In functionality once it has been enabled by your admin, click on the gear icon below the name of your school (User Settings) and click on Add location.

Start to type the name of the location and select or scroll down through the list of locations and select the location with which you want to associate.

With the location selected, you can click on the edit pencil and assign that location a Check-In PIN. Click on the blue Location Update button.
Post the Check-In PIN at the entrance of that location so that students can enter that PIN on the pass on their device to electronically check themselves into that location.

If you need to edit or update the Student Check-In PIN, simply click on the edit pencil and make the necessary change.
REMEMBER:
Any adult associated with the location can update the Check-In PIN, so you may need to coordinate this effort.
When students leave one location to go to an Auto Check-In location, they should take their devices with them so that they can enter the PIN and check themselves into that location. Once the student enters the PIN and clicks on CHECK-IN, the pass will then turn gray, signifying that the pass has ended.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If the pass is a Layover Pass, it will remain an active pass on the Dashboard, and the teacher will need to click RETURNING and send the student back to their originating teacher.
