Queue Management for Teachers, Staff, and Admin
If Queue Management is enabled, you will see which students are waiting in line to go to locations that are currently full (at school-defined capacity).
On the dashboard, under My Passes/All Passes, click on Queue. If a student is in the queue for a location, that student’s pass will be white with the notation “IN QUEUE : 1”. The number indicates where that student is in line for that location.

When that location is available, the next student in line for that location’s queue will move from the Queue to the Dashboard and will wait for APPROVAL to leave the classroom. (See illustrations below.)

Test Student50 is on an active pass to the Boys’ 100 Hall Restroom.
Location Limit - The Boys’ 100 Hall Restroom is set to 1, so this location is currently at capacity.

Matt Student22 has created a pass to the Boys’ 100 Hall Restroom. That location is currently full.
Matt is placed in the queue in position #1 (He is the next person in line for that location).

When Test Student50 returns to class and his pass is ended, Matt’s pass moves from the queue to the Active tab and is WAITING APPROVAL from the teacher.
Additional Info:
If a student is waiting in line for an Auto Pass location that is currently full, when that location becomes available, the student will be able to START their own pass or the adult can start the pass from the Dashboard.
For Contact Control pairings, if Student A is on a Pass, Student B will be able to join the queue but will not be given an active pass until Student A’s pass is ended. The queue will continue to progress - skipping Student B - until the hallway is clear for them.
If you wish to clear the Queue, you will need to do so from the web application.
Clearing Queues
Auto Queue Clearing Times
If you have set Auto Queue Clearing Times in Queue Settings, your queues for your selected locations will be cleared at those times.

Manual Queue Clearing
Queues can be cleared manually. Admins can clear their own queues as well as ALL of the queues for the building. Teachers can only clear their own queues.
Admin - Individual Queue(s) / Students
For admin users to clear their individual queues, on the Dashboard, select My Passes and Queue. On the right side of the screen, click Clear Queue. On the popup screen, confirm your choice by clicking Confirm. (See screenshots below.)
Admin users can clear individual students from their queues. Select My Passes and Queue. Students in the queue will be listed. Click the Cancel button for the student you want to remove from the queue. (See screenshots below.)


Admin - All Queues
Admin users can also clear all queues in the building. Select All Passes and Queue. Students who are waiting in line will be listed on the screen. Click the Clear Queue button on the right side of the screen. On the popup window, click Confirm. All of the queues will be cleared. (Admin can also clear individual students from queues by clicking the CANCEL button for selected students.)


Teacher - Individual Queue(s) or Individual Students
Teachers and staff members can clear their own queues manually. To do so, select My Passes and Queue. On the right side of the screen, click Clear Queue. On the popup screen, click Confirm.


REMEMBER:
Teachers and staff are not able to clear ALL queues manually. That functionality is reserved for admin users.
Using the Clear Passes Button
When the Dashboard is set to All Passes and Active & Ended, there will also be a “Clear Passes” badge on the right side of the screen.

Use this feature to reconcile and close expired passes. Occasionally, a pass may remain visible on a device after its scheduled duration has ended. This action clears those completed sessions from your view to ensure your dashboard accurately reflects real-time activity.
Note: This process is safe to run at any time; it only affects expired passes and will not interrupt students with currently active passes. Simply click the button and confirm the action in the pop-up window.
