Enabling nudity scanning for Gmail attachments

Please ensure that you uncheck the ‘Remove attachments from message’ field from the Aware route in your Google Workspace. Without this, the Aware server will not receive any Gmail attachments to scan for nudity.

Note

Email alerts for nudity in email attachments and Google Drive are managed by the Nudity in Images toggle button. Switching off ‘Email’ notifications will only stop alert emails for self-harm, grief, bullying, and violence detected in emails. You will continue to receive email notifications for nudity so long as the nudity in Images button is turned on. This can be found in Account Settings > Notifications.
