Understanding the Custom Activity Setting for Parent Reports

You can choose what information about a child’s online activity is shared with their parents via the weekly email reports or the Home app. Securly provides category-level granularity for configuring the access levels. You can select from existing presets or customize your own for both in-school and outside-school activity.

The custom activity setting can sometimes appear greyed out and unavailable. This occurs when you do not have any custom settings saved from the last time you updated your configuration and have instead opted for one of the presets. Securly does not save multiple report settings; only the last saved or the current one in use is retained.

To enable the custom settings, you can simply check or uncheck a checkbox for any of the categories.
