If you attempt to log in directly with an account from a different domain (e.g., gmail.com or anotherschool.tld), Securly will block or restrict access because the filtering system doesn’t recognize those domains.

The workaround is simple: authenticate with your school account first, then add personal or external accounts afterward.

Step-by-Step: Access External Google Accounts

Follow these steps to successfully use multiple Google accounts on your school-filtered browser:

1. Authenticate with Your School Account First

Open Google Chrome.
Navigate to unsafewebsite.com — this will trigger the filter’s login page.
Log in using your school account credentials (e.g., user@school.tld).
(This ensures the filter authenticates your session properly.)

2. Access Your School Gmail Inbox

Visit gmail.com.
Confirm that you’re signed in to your school inbox.
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the Gmail page.

3. Add a Personal or External Google Account

From the account menu, click "Add another account".

Enter the credentials for your personal or other domain account (e.g., user@gmail.com or user@anotherschool.tld).

4. Handle Chrome Profile Prompt

After successfully logging in with the secondary account, Chrome will show this prompt:

Click "No Thanks" to stay within the same browser profile.
