Multiple Detentions on the Same Rung of Consequence Ladder

You can add multiple detentions on the same rung of the consequence ladder, where each detention on that particular rung applies to a specific graduation year.

Note:  When creating the detention, select the Grad year to which the detention applies.  To edit previously-created detentions, click Tardy Detention(s) and then click on the three (3) dots under the Action column that coincide with that detention.  Click Edit, select the specific grad year(s) to which the detention should apply, and then click Update.

If you created detentions that are associated with specific grad years, those grad years will be noted to the right of the Action Type on the Consequence Ladder.

NOTES:  

• If you place multiple detentions on the same rung of your Consequence Ladder, please keep that in mind as you schedule your detentions on the Detention Calendar.

• When students check the Consequence Ladder on their Dashboards, they will only see the consequences that apply to them (either assigned to their specific grad year or assigned to all students).

As students earn detentions, their names will be added to the Detention Calendar.  See the illustrations below using the following students:
