Behavior Management
Behavior Management Module
Behavior Management enables students to earn points for demonstrating positive behavior. Adults have the ability to award and redeem these points, while students can track what they have accumulated and spent. Additionally, point categories can be fully customized, including automated rewards for students who arrive to school and class on time.
To enable Behavior Management, in the Admin Control Panel, click Modules and switch to Behavior Management and slide the toggle to the right.
Once enabled, you will see Behavior Management on the left menu, and

Once enabled from the Modules page, Behavior Management can be customized to fit your school and needs.
Core Value
Core Values are the categories used to organize Behavior Management points. You will need at least one Core Value enabled in order to utilize Behavior Management. When adults are awarding student points, they will see these values in the drop-down menu.
There are pre-filled core values that can be used or edited. To customize the Core Values, click in the Action column on the table. You can Delete, temporarily Disable, or Edit the value. In the edit box, you can rename the value, add a description, choose a color association, and enable or disable the value. Once the changes are made, click Submit to save.
Core Values can be added by clicking the “Add Core Value” badge and filling out the required information. Core Values can be added by clicking the “Add Positive Behavior” badge and filling out the required information. Behaviors can also be added via CSV file, see the Creating a Behavior Management CSV section for details.
Positive Behaviors
Students earn points for demonstrating specific actions called Positive Behaviors. Each of these behaviors is linked to a corresponding Core Value and color-coded for consistency. Adults will select the specific Positive Behavior from a drop-down menu when awarding points.
There are some Positive Behaviors already created, you can review and edit them as needed. To customize the Behaviors, click in the Action column on the table. You can Delete, temporarily Disable, or Edit the value. In the edit box, you can select the associated Core Value, rename the behavior, set the number of points awarded, and add a description. Once the changes are made, click Submit to save.
Positive Behaviors can be added by clicking the “Add Positive Behavior” badge and filling out the required information. Behaviors can also be added via CSV file, see the Creating a Behavior Management CSV section for details.
Creating a Behavior Management CSV
Behaviors can also be added via CSV file. Click the Upload CSV badge and download the sample file. Add the requested data, ensuring that the headers match the sample file exactly. The file columns are: Core Value, Positive Behavior, Award Description, Color, Points, and Status. Once the file is created, upload it in the Upload CSV pop-up.
Assign a color by adding the first letter of the color as listed on the key:
Water (W)
Periwinkle (P)
Teal (T)
Raspberry (R)
Orange (O)
Green (G)
Leaf (L)
Strawberry (S)
Cloud (C)
To associate multiple Positive Behaviors with a Core Value, simply repeat the Core Value on multiple rows.
As you change and update your settings, keep in mind that each new CSV will overwrite the last. To add a new behavior or value, add it to the bottom of your current file and reupload. Do not upload a file with only the new data as this will cause existing settings to be removed.
*Please note, if you choose to customize your theme, the CSV upload headings will not reflect customizations.
Automated Points
Automated Points works together with Tardy Management to let the system do the work for you. This can be used in connection with Late to School (LTS), Late the Class (LTC), or both. Students will be awarded points when they have no LTS or LTC passes in the selected timeframe.
Switch on the toggle for one or both tardy options. Then, select the frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly), the associated Core Value, and the number of points to be awarded. Click Save to apply the changes.
Customized Theme
If your school uses different terms or verbiage, the Customized Theme allows you to customize Behavior Management. On this tab, you can rename the Behavior Management module, Core Value, Positive Behaviors, and Points. To make these changes, slide the toggle, type in the boxes (25 character limit), and click Save.
