How to Use the Pause Internet Feature on School-Owned Devices

The Pause Internet feature allows schools to empower parents to pause internet access on their children’s school-owned devices.

To enable the Pause Internet feature, please contact the Securly Support team and request activation. Note that this feature is currently available only for Chromebooks and Securly SmartPAC users.

Once the feature is activated, the pause button will be enabled in the Securly Home app for parents. Parents can click this button to temporarily restrict internet access on school-owned devices when their child is connected to the home network.
