Overview

Setting up Automated Device Enrollment (formerly known as Device Enrollment Program or DEP) allows devices to automatically enroll in Securly MDM after being powered on for the first time (new or after reset) and connected to the Internet.

While there are other enrollment methods, Automated Device Enrollment is the preferred method for schools, as devices enrolled with this method are locked to prevent the removal of MDM management by the user of the device (i.e. the student).

Note that an Apple School Manager account is required to proceed further.
