Securly On-Call Phone Numbers: Where Calls and Texts Come From
When the Securly On-Call team contacts your school or district about a student, calls and texts come from specific Securly numbers. Use this article to recognize them.
| Type of contact | Comes from |
|---|---|
| Phone calls (all regions) | 855-737-6780 |
| Text messages in the US | (833) 616-1100 |
| Text messages in the UK | +44 7723 389580 |
Calls and texts do not come from the same number. All On-Call calls come from 855-737-6780, and texts come from the number for your region.
When does On-Call call or text?
- Extreme risk: the On-Call team calls or texts your contacts, and an analyst follows up until the notification has been seen. If no one can be reached, law enforcement is alerted.
- Moderate or increased risk: the team sends an email and does not call. The subject line shows the risk level the analyst assigned. If your district has turned on SMS alerts, contacts also receive a text.
By default, school contacts are called or texted first, then district contacts, in the order they are listed in your On-Call setup, unless you have configured custom coverage by risk level, category, or days and times.
Texts for every On-Call alert
Admins can choose to have contacts receive a text for every alert email the On-Call team sends. Texts for lower-risk alerts are sent once and are not followed up. Analysts only follow up to confirm that extreme-risk notifications were seen. To turn this on, see How to Enable SMS Alerts for On-Call Contacts.
Who does On-Call contact?
On-Call contacts the school and district contacts you have set up, not parents directly. Parent address and phone information is shared only so law enforcement can reach out if a wellness check is needed. To learn how the process works, see Understanding Securly On-Call: How It Works.
If you received an extreme-risk email and no call or text, or no follow-up email telling you who responded, contact Securly Support at support@securly.com.
